Tamarack Water Works
There is not much to say about the beach at Tamarack Water Works. It is public property, but surrounded by private property. And I must say there is much more private property than public. Nevertheless, a public beach exists.

The view here is nice – great sunsets – but the swimming is not good. The rocks in the water are large & slippery, so walking out into the water is difficult. The beach isn’t very big either. In fact, this beach may not be worth the drive for someone afar. There are certainly many other beaches in the area that are much better. Lots of rocks to pick here though. The beach is at the end of Tamarack Water Works Road, out of Calumet.
